Introduction to the nursing profession and its responsibilities and the legal and ethical issues in nursing practice. Concepts related to the physical, emotional, and psychosocial self-care of the learner/professional. End-of-Course Outcomes: The student will discuss the personal adjustments essential to the development of the vocational nurse; identify the role of the licensed vocational nurse; and discuss the legal and ethical responsibilities in vocational nursing practice.
