RSPT 2314 - Mechanical Ventilation

The study of mechanical ventilation with emphasis on ventilator classification, methods, principles, and operational characteristics. This course is a continuation of Mechanical Ventilation I, designed to provide the student with the opportunity to set up, operate, and troubleshoot various volume ventilators on the market today. Emphasis will be placed on building skills needed to work with volume and pressure ventilators.
