This capstone course introduces the principles and tools for managerial use in the development, implementation, and review of strategy for organizations. Topics include internal and external environmental analysis; value, competition, and strategic choice; strategic positioning; and implementation and control issues. Included in the course content is the introduction of the concepts, terminology, principles, theories, and issues in the field of management. Students will explain various theories, processes, and functions of management; apply theories to a business environment; and identify leadership roles in organizations. Pre-requisites: Senior status
