This course will review process plant operations with emphasis on the elements of effective operations, routine technician duties, startups, shutdowns, emergency and non-routine operations, procedure writing, team and communications skills, process economic considerations, and commissioning new and revamped process facilities. Students work with operating process model and tour the college utilities facility.
